SKA EVENT EXCLUSIVE SIGNATURE SERIES 16” x 20” K.A.R.R. POSTER PRINT

Originally offered EXCLUSIVELY at “Southern Knight Atlanta” (2024), an annual “all knight” fan event in Georgia presented by Mark Puette, this highly detailed artwork of K.A.R.R. features the two-tone silver/black paint style as featured in the Season 3 episode, “K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R.” and was created to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of this fan favorite episode.

K.A.R.R. (Knight Automated Roving Robot) was a modified 1982 Pontiac Trans Am (called the Knight 2000) and the first prototype built before K.I.T.T. with numerous special features such as Turbo Boost (which allowed quick bursts of speed or jumping over obstacles), the ability to drive “himself”, a front mounted scanner bar, stolen high intensity laser, and “molecular bonded shell” body armor portrayed to be invulnerable to small arms gunfire, crashing through walls/fences, driving through fire/lava, or other dangers.

K.A.R.R. later featured a distinctive amber yellow scanner and “KARR” vanity license plate.

K.A.R.R. unlike his counterpart K.I.T.T. was programmed for self preservation and not the preservation of either human life or its driver, which led to disastrous and dangerous circumstances resulting in K.A.R.R. being deactivated by his creator Wilton Knight.

Once discovered and repaired, K.A.R.R. took his fight directly to Michael Knight and K.I.T.T. making him one of the most memorable sentient automobile villains in the history of the series and 80’s pop culture.

For the first time ever, I am offering my remaining stock of these VERY RARE limited run of 16” x 20” inch 40th Anniversary “K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R.” prints of from my “Metallic Schematic” series leftover from the event. These prints are hand signed in RED sharpie ink, making them unique from the other “Chase the Gold” prints in the Metallic Schematic Series.

Once they are gone, they are officially retired. This poster design of “K.A.R.R.” may be reprinted again at a later date, but it will NOT feature the SKA logo or “K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R.” 40th anniversary details on it, making this version a true limited edition event exclusive.

These poster prints were created specifically for the event.

Unlike their smaller “8 x 10” counterparts (see photos), these HIGHLY DETAILED posters are not on metallic photo paper, instead they are printed in a rich, vibrant, multi-layered, black ink on 100# semi-gloss paper that enhances every little aspect of these very detailed drawings you just cannot see in the smaller format. You must see these larger prints in person to really appreciate every nut and bolt captured in my depictions of these recognizable KR vehicles from our favorite cult classic television series. Each print is carefully hand rolled and includes a poster tube.

– Each 16” x 20” “K.A.R.R.” poster contains exclusive details relating to “K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R.”, 40th Anniversary text, and features the “Southern Knights Atlanta” event logo in full color.

(NOTE: Fingerprints and minor smudges can be carefully removed by gently wiping your print with a DRY micro-fiber cloth. The black ink on these prints can scratch and the paper can crease, so be VERY careful when handling them, especially prior to framing.)
