K.I.T.T. (Knight Industries Two Thousand) was a modified 1982 Pontiac Trans Am (called the Knight 2000) with numerous special features such as Turbo Boost (which allowed quick bursts of speed or jumping over obstacles), the ability to drive “himself”, a front mounted scanner bar, and “molecular bonded shell’ (MBS) covered body portrayed to be invulnerable to small arms gunfire, crashing through walls, fences, driving through raging fire, scorching lava, or other dangers.
This highly detailed artwork of the Knight 2000 (82′ Pontiac Trans Am) has multiple views and features and specs you won’t find anywhere else inspired by the original “K.I.T.T. kit” and other fun sources of series accurate information.
For the first time ever, I am offering a very limited run of 16” x 20” inch prints of my “Metallic Schematic” series artwork featuring K.I.T.T. in a brand new “Signature Series” Edition with a much larger poster size format!
Unlike their smaller “8 x 10” counterparts (see photos), these HIGHLY DETAILED posters are not on metallic photo paper, instead they are printed in a rich, vibrant, multi-layered, black ink on 100# semi-gloss paper that enhances every little aspect of these very detailed drawings you just can’t see in the smaller format. You must see these larger prints in person to really appreciate every nut and bolt captured in my depictions of these recognizable KR vehicles from our favorite cult classic television series. Each print is carefully hand rolled and includes a specially labeled poster tube which will look fantastic framed and hung up on your wall, garage space, or Mobile Command Center!
(NOTE: Due to a manufacturing error, each print is offered in a NON-MINT condition with minor dents or bends around the edges, which won’t be noticeable in a frame. EVERY print has this unavoidable flaw and is being offered a significantly reduced introductory “knick and dent” price of $34.95 plus shipping & handling.)
EACH SIGNATURE SERIES “K.I.T.T.” PRINT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
– (1) “STANDARD” 16″ x 20″ “K.I.T.T.” print hand signed and #’d in SILVER INK by Digital Artist Nick Nugent in a special signature area found only on this “Signature Series” poster.
– Each K.I.T.T. poster tube purchased has a 3:50 chance of finding a winning variant gold signature print hiding inside it! You will know if you’ve found one. Because of this treasure hunt promotion, “K.I.T.T.” posters are limited to just (50) prints each!
– “WINNING” prints #1, #25, and #50 are signed in GOLD INK as a very special 1 of 1 “chase the gold” variant for collectors, featuring unique one of a kind details not found on the “standard” prints.
(NOTE: Due to their unique hand embellished details, these very rare prints are in non-mint condition and details will vary.)
– All (50) K.I.T.T. prints are randomly inserted in tubes and shipped out at random so that everyone has a fair chance of finding a gold signature variant. Even I don’t know which tubes contain winning K.I.T.T. prints, It’s completely up to fate to decide the outcome of who finds what! The more K.I.T.T. poster tubes you buy, the better your chances. Think of this as purchasing a giant lottery ticket that you want to keep, even if you don’t win the jackpot!
Due to the nature of the “Chase the Gold” treasure hunt – “K.I.T.T.” and “The Semi” poster prints are each SOLD SEPERATELY so I CANNOT guarantee anyone matching numbers on their prints or combine them together in the same tube. I want to keep all this as random and fair as possible for everyone.
Each K.I.T.T. print is carefully hand rolled and will ship in a special individually labeled poster tube. Up to (3) tubes can fit per shipping box. All orders will be shipped using USPS cardboard boxes and pricing will vary based on region and weight.
(NOTE: THESE POSTER TUBES CANNOT SHIP WITH 8 x 10 PHOTO PRINTS OR METAL PLATES, THESE ITEMS WILL SHIP IN A SEPARATE BOX WITH ADDITIONAL SHIPPING REQUIRED.)
(NOTE: Fingerprints and minor smudges can be carefully removed by gently wiping your print with a DRY micro-fiber cloth. The black ink on these prints can scratch and the paper can crease, so be VERY careful when handling them, especially prior to framing.)
As you can see, each K.I.T.T. print is roughly 4x the detail of an “8 x 10” allowing you to see every nut and bolt that you cannot easily spot on the smaller prints.
(All 8 x 10 prints in photos are shown for purposes of scale and NOT included.)
So you might be wondering, what makes these K.I.T.T. variant prints different than the standard ones, besides being signed in GOLD INK?
“K.I.T.T.” GOLD SIGNATURE VARIANT(S) #1, #25, #50
– K.I.T.T.’s variant print also features hand cut “scanners” made from a highly reflective red foil tape which cannot be accurately photographed or recorded on camera. These very shiny scanners are cut with an xacto-knife template to fit each scanner area of the “standard” print and embellished with white paint pen to separate each area of the “scanner bar.” This produces a “roving” light effect when a light source is shined across the reflective foil material. Each of these prints had to be hand assembled to accomplish this unique design. The front view, top, and 3/4 view feature this reflective foil scanner detailing. You really must see it in person to experience the full effect. No two prints are alike.
Each variant print is hand signed and #’d in GOLD INK!
———-
There are (3) K.I.T.T. variants per run of (50) prints each giving you a 3:50 chance to “Chase the Gold” and find a winning print. Due to how carefully these very special “1 of 1” prints are packed, you will know if you found a variant which also includes a bonus item at the bottom of the tube, so make sure you look for it! The more poster tubes you purchase, the better your odds will be to find a winning gold variant print!
All K.I.T.T. poster tube orders will be pulled randomly from a box and shipped out, keeping the “chase” entirely random for everyone who purchases a poster tube. Even I don’t know which tubes contain winning prints, it’s entirely up to chance.
DON’T GET LEFT BEHIND! ORDER YOUR “K.I.T.T.” SIGNATURE SERIES POSTER TODAY AND “CHASE THE GOLD” BEFORE ALL THREE VARIANTS ARE CLAIMED!”
